  Chapter One

  Tuesday 25th July

  My Bedroom.

  Five am.

I awoke with a feeling of dread, remembering my encounter with Kaveh from the night before.

It was still dark outside, and my alarm hadn’t yet gone off.

Reaching around, I found the Kaveh shaped lump and tapped him, wanting him to wake up and get out.

  He groaned something unintelligible.

“Come on, you’ve got to go to work,” I said, anxious for him to go so I could soak in the bath before my own work day began.

I turned the light on. It was too bright for me, especially after two hours sleep, but I needed some time by myself.

Yes, I enjoyed our night together. Being fucked here, there and everywhere by a young stallion was most women’s fantasy, but even the memories didn’t stop my stomach from churning.

He pushed himself up, then kicked the covers off himself.

“Morning, beautiful.” He stretched and yawned.

“Good morning to you too,” I replied.

“Did you have fun last night?”

“Very much so.” It was the truth, but I wasn’t up for a repeat performance, but judging by how hard his dick was, he wanted more.

“My big cock enjoyed it too.” He slapped it in his hand.

“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint both you and your big cock, but I have an hour to get ready for work and get into the office.”

“Shit, really? I was gonna throw a sickie.”

Oh, no! “You can throw a sickie, but you won’t be spending it in bed with me. I have a new job, remember, and a trip to America to prepare for.”

“Oh, yeah, I forgot that. I’m gutted.”

“Me too, but nothing lasts forever Kaveh, and besides, it was fun while it lasted.”

“You’ll have to look me up whenever you come home. I’ve always wanted to be somebody’s booty call.” He jumped out of bed. “Mind if I take another shower?”

  “Help yourself.”

Somebody’s booty call. His words hit home. Is that what I was now–some sort of dirty old trollop relying on booty calls for my sexual gratification? No fucking way! Not if I could help it.

I rushed downstairs and grabbed his clean clothes from the tumble dryer and personal possessions from the kitchen table. That way, he would be ready to go.

Why was I being such a bitch?

I was well up for it last night, but now I didn’t want to know.

  Shame crept in.

My behaviour was verging on madness, like I’d been possessed by some sort of Slut-Devil, intent on bonking my way across the town with every man I could get my grubby paws on.

Kaveh walked out of the bathroom, stark naked.

I had to admit. He was an impressive specimen of manhood, and despite my own reservations, my mind plumbed the depths of the sewer once more and my instinct was to drop to my knees and take his big chunky cock in my mouth. But I resisted the urge.

“Thank you for washing and drying my clothes, Eliza.” He slipped into his jeans.

“I couldn’t send you to work in that state, could I?”

He smiled and stood up. “So, this is goodbye then?”

“It is, but it’s been so nice spending time with you.” It wasn’t a lie because he was a genuinely nice guy, but there was no future for us.

“Do I get a hug before I go?”

“Of course you do, silly.” I opened my arms and we embraced. He kissed me on the cheek and my body trembled. “Goodbye, Kaveh. I hope you have a good life.”

“I hope the same for you, Eliza. You’re one hell of a woman and I’m glad our paths crossed.”

  And then, he was gone.

I heard the front door close and for a moment felt sad. But I shouldn’t have. I should smile for the time we had together.

It was five forty-five am and my phone alarm came to life.

I picked it up, and as I did a text came through.

  Morning gorgeous.

  It was from Aaron.

  Good morning to you too.

  You’re awake early.

  Couldn’t sleep.

  Why?

  Stuff on my mind.

  Nothing major.

  Ah, ok!

I didn’t know what else to say.

  Are you at work

  today?

  Yes!

  Shame!

  We could have spent

  some time

  together.

  Would have been

  nice!

A knock on my window surprised me.

I pulled the curtains back to find Aaron standing there.

  SURPRISE!

  It certainly was.

I opened the door and let him in.

“Sorry, but I couldn’t resist it.”

  “You’re incorrigible.”

“If I knew what that meant, I might agree.” He grinned. I knew full well he was kidding. This guy wasn’t dumb.

  “How have you been?”

“Busy catching up with friends, but the one I wanted to catch up with hasn’t had time to see me.”

I felt awful. “Sorry, but the last few days have been manic.”

  “So I noticed.”

“Huh?” He nodded to the side of my bed. I wanted the ground to swallow me whole. My dildo was on the floor beside the bed from last night. Kaveh had used it on me. “Oh, God.”

“It’s cool, Eliza. We’re not exactly exclusive.”

  “I feel awful.”

“Don’t.” He touched my arm. “We had fun, and I’m not lying when I say I’d like more, but it’s on your terms. I’m a big boy though, and can take rejection.”

“I’m not rejecting you, Aaron. But if you want me to be honest, I’ve kept you at arms-length because I’m scared of falling for you. It’s not such a big secret.”

“Would it be such a bad thing, Eliza?”

“It wouldn’t be ideal right now.”

  “Why?”

“I’m older than you, and when you’re studying...the distance. In fact, there’s quite a few obstacles in our
way.”

“You don’t know where things could go between us, Eliza.”

“I didn’t think it was worth risking disappointment.”

  “I’m here, aren’t I?”

Yes, he was, and looking as good as he always did. Even at that time of the morning, he could still make my heart flutter and my pussy tingle.

“Do you want to take a shower with me?”

“I could be convinced.” He pulled his T-Shirt off and dropped his tracksuit bottoms in record time. “I’m ready.”

He had a magnificent body, but I had to admit, there was more to us showering together than I was willing to admit.

I’d been with Kaveh last night and didn’t want to have sex with Aaron unless I felt clean.

I led him to the bathroom and turned the shower on.

Once I was certain the water was hot enough, I dragged him inside, then pulled him in for a kiss.

  Chapter Two

It had gone eight am and Aaron had taken me every which way he could.

I was fucked, literally, as I watched him hop over the back wall.

About to close the door and get ready for work, I was positive one of the curtains in the top right window of Aaron’s house moved.

Paranoia caused by lack of sleep obviously.

I grabbed my phone and dialled Antonio, wanting to check in.

“Good morning, Eliza,” he said. “How are you today?”

“Looking forward to going into the office.”

“You really are a glutton for punishment, aren’t you?”

“What can I say? I love what I do.”

“Then I should tell you that Marco called last night and begged me to reconsider your appointment. He thinks your new position will undermine his authority.”

That didn’t sound good. “Oh, and what did you tell him?”

“I told him to go fuck himself and that if his company wasn’t up to the task of doing what you needed them to do, you would terminate the contract.”

  “Wow.”

“Did you think I would back down and renege on what we agreed?”

“You’re putting a lot of faith in me, Antonio.”

“I’m very astute, even if I do say so myself. You’re the woman for the job, and if you do wish to cancel the contract, just give the word and it’s done.”

Working with Marco and my old colleagues wasn’t going to work out. I could see that now and had no need to rub their noses in it. I’d already won and would be happier with fresh challenges, so bring them on I say. “Terminate the contract.”

  “Done.”

  “Are you sure?”

“It’s done and don’t give it another thought.”

“Thank you, but what do I do now?”

“I’m throwing a big company party tomorrow evening and I’d like you there to meet some of your new colleagues. A few of them will be working directly underneath you, so make a good impression on them but let them know who’s boss from the start.”

“Can you email me the details please?”

“I’ll have my PA do it in the next five minutes.”

“Thank you.” A party. How exciting.

“Are you at home for the next few hours?”

“Well, now I have nothing to do, yes, I suppose I am.”

“Good. Your company credit card will be hand delivered this morning by your new Executive Assistant. Once you receive it, go and buy yourself a fancy dress and put it on your expenses. I’ll sign it off.”

“That’s not really necessary, but…err, backtrack one minute. What Executive Assistant?”

“You’re going to be a busy lady, Eliza, and I don’t want you overwhelmed with mundane tasks, so…”

“That is very generous, but so not necessary.”

“Tough. Just say thank you and we can move on.”

  “Thank you, Antonio.”

“My pleasure entirely. Believe it or not, I am excited to be working with you, and now we’ve got the other thing out of the way, working together should be easy, productive and lucrative for us both.”

“I agree.” I assumed the other thing meant the attraction between us.

“Have a good day, Eliza. I’ll have the details sent over now and will see you tomorrow night. Reserve the first dance on your card for me.”

  “Will do.”

  He ended the call.

Now I had a party to think about, as well as a new EA.

What was I going to wear?

I had to look shit hot, but as eager as I was to hit the shops, I had to wait for the card to arrive.

“Sam.” He popped into my mind.

I’d call Sam and ask if he wanted to come along and help me choose an outfit. That way I also got to spend some time with him.

  Chapter Three

It was good to hear his voice.

  “Good morning, little lady.”

  “Did I wake you?”

“Yeah, but I needed to be up anyway.”

  “I’m sorry.” I felt awful.

“Don’t be. It’s kinda nice to wake up to your voice.”

“I can call you back later on. It wasn’t anything that can’t wait.”

  “Do you need a ride?”

“Yes. And no. I do, but I want you to come with me.”

“Interesting. Are we going anywhere nice?”

“I need a new dress for a work’s event tomorrow night.”

“Shopping.” I heard the dread in his voice. “Well…”

“Bad idea,” I said, interrupting him. “I thought I could kill two birds with one stone and get the dress but see you too.”

“Well, when you put it like that, what time do you want me?”

“Can we play it by ear? My new assistant is coming over this morning, so I need to meet her first, then I can call you. Is that okay?”

“Course. Hit me up when you want, and I’ll be right over.”

“Thanks, Sam. I can’t wait to see you.”

  “Right back at ya.”

I was looking forward to seeing him but felt guilty about Aaron.

  Who did I want?

I didn’t seem to be able to make up my mind about anything.

An hour later, there was a knock at my door.

I straightened my dress and rushed to the door, slightly nervous as I’d never had an EA before.

“Hello,” I said with a smile as I pulled open the door. She wasn’t at all what I was expecting. “Come in.”

“I’m fine right here,” she snapped.

“Oh, okay.” I was taken aback by her abrupt nature. We were not going to get along.

“I wanna know what’s going on with you and my son.”

  “I beg your pardon.”

“Or maybe I should ask why my son was hopping over your wall at the crack of dawn?”

  “Sorry, but you’ve lost me.”

“Aaron,” she barked. “You do know his name, don’t you?”

  “Shit.”

  “Exactly.”

“Look, come in, let’s not do this on the doorstep.”

  “How old are you?”

“What’s my age got to do with anything?”

“You’re old enough to be his mother. Don’t think anybody is fooled by the trendy clothes and the face caked with make-up.”

She was likely to get a slap if she carried on. “Listen to me you cheeky b…”

“No.” She shrieked loud enough for the whole street to hear her. “You listen to me. Keep your hands off my son, or else.”

  “Don’t threaten me.”

“It’s not a threat, it’s a promise. A woman of your age should be ashamed.”

She stormed off before I had a chance to say anything else. I was tempted to run after her and rip her tatty head off her shoulders but thought better of it and slammed the door.

Seconds later, there was another knock.

This time, I was ready for battle and would swing for the mouthy bitch.

  I almost pulled the door
off its hinges and was about to let rip but managed to stop myself in time.

  My mouth hung open.

  “I’m looking for Eliza Bailey.”

“Huh?” was all I could manage.

“My name is Sharon Penniworth and I’m your new Executive Assistant.”

  Chapter Four

It wasn’t how I imagined the morning to go, but at least my new EA turned out to be lovely.

Being chastised on my own doorstep by Aaron’s mum wasn’t the most fun I’d ever had, but it was the wake-up call I needed.

What the hell was I doing fooling around with him? There was no future in it, especially if I was going to be based in another country.

I decided to speak to Antonio.

America had always appealed to me so why not base myself there? I could flit back and forth to the UK as required, but I’d also be closer to Antonio and the action. Tomorrow at the party would be the ideal opportunity.

I said goodbye to Sharon and told her I’d see her at the party.

Time to buy myself a new dress.

With my new company credit card tucked safely away in my purse, a fire had been lit in my belly. I’d look out of this world tomorrow and show my new team exactly who I was.

Sam pulled up outside, climbed out of the car and held the passenger door open for me. “It’s good to see you, Eliza.”

  “You too, Sam.”

  “So, where we heading to?”

  “City Centre.”

“Gotcha!” He started the car and drove off.

“You’re very good tagging along like this.” I put my hand on his leg.
